Week 2 - The first distribution of roles

During the start of the second session we were told that our first assessment of work load would be in three weeks; where the tutors would assess everyone's each individual work load and team contribution.

Due to this the team had to start distributing roles, because of the disagreement earlier in the week, the team began this session by 'ironing out' some of the details of the game, this took around half an hour to 40 minutes but eventually all the team agreed and felt more comfortable with the whole project.

The idea behind this session was to give out roles to every member, where they would be able to work on their set roles for 3 weeks until the first assessment. However, to fully get a confident understanding as to what our game idea is the whole team were set a week assignment, to come up with their own ideas for the game so that in the third week we could look over each persons ideas and make a group decision .

We did this so that everyone would feel better about the project and it also helped to prevent anyone feeling like their ideas weren't being considered and appreciated. Ultimately this method helps to build a better working environment, which increases enthusiasm and quality of work within the third week, the team will be given their personal set roles for design or programming.
