Week 1 - Introduction

During the first session of the digital media project 1 we were introduced to the module and told what it involves and what is expected of us.

After getting into teams, our team ended up with 10 members; 6 designers and 4 programmers. The tutor then gave us a bit of time to come together as a team and start to create an idea, a concept for a 2D platforming game, the whole team seemed very enthusiastic and friendly.

After the exercise was over we had to write down key words and phrases that explained what our game was all about.

To help create good communication between all the team members, I suggested that everyone adds me on Facebook and I would then create a private group where we could all communicate, even outside of sessions and meetings. Everyone agreed and the group was created in minutes, within the first few days posts were being made from several members with useful websites and links for our project.
